The Honey Bee, Apis Meliifera, most commonly found in the UK.
These are widespread in both country and city areas, mainly found in gardens, orchards, woodland and sometimes in and around the home. Honey bees are not a health risk to humans and do not sting unless provoked.
Potential harm: Some people may have an immediate allergic reaction to being stung, such as an anaphylactic shock, which can be fatal.
Potential risk for the elderly, pregnant women and children.
